New Moon on November 01, 2024
Dear Yoga Club Members,
I’ll be out from Monday, November 4, through Monday, November 11, but our Open Practice sessions will continue on weekday mornings.
Truthfully, I’m feeling a bit of dereliction of duty being away during this period of time in DC. Taking care of my family requires my in-person care, and so your community spirit will be an essential part of our connective tissue for community health. I am who I am because of who I serve, and you do not get to serve a community without a community. While I am caring for my mom and dad, please take good care of each other.
I know you will.
If you need a bit more in-person care, I’ve reserved three spots each week for you guys with Chris and Fela, so please go check them out! They’re the independent yoga teachers who are in residence at the yoga club. I couldn’t be happier to host them.
Special Event: Election Burnout Practice
Join us on Tuesday, November 5, at 6:45 pm for a special Election Burnout Practice session with Fela. This event will kick off our new evening programming led by Independent Yoga Professionals. Come unwind and recharge! Fela’s class is great, and you can catch it every Tuesday.
Drop-In Opportunity for Chris’s Classes
On Wednesdays, Chris Reber will lead Vinyasa Flow and Breathwork Meditation sessions at 6:15. Take advantage of this chance to deepen your practice mid-week.
Saturday Social
Since I’ll miss our next Saturday Social, if anyone would like to host or suggest an activity, let’s keep the community spirit going strong!
Looking forward to hearing about all the wonderful energy while I’m away.
Warmly,
Michael Joel Hall
