Hi, I’m Michael.

I’m a yoga coach. I practice and teach Ashtanga Yoga, with a certification in Human Movement.

I help people use yoga to enrich their lives.

I’ve worked one-on-one with thousands of students, studied and taught all over the world, and I’m just as passionate today as I was 20 years ago.

My mission is to educate and empower folks with effective tools and systems to live a more fulfilling life.

You’ve found the Yoga Club— Logan Circle’s best kept yoga secret. I’m Michael Joel Hall, the director of the Yoga Club.

We offer two styles of instruction: One-on-one in a group setting, and one-on-one in a private setting. We’re more bespoke, smaller.

I’ve lived in yoga for 20 years, and I’ve been teaching here since 2007. This club is more than just a business to me; it’s a passion, a creation, a promise to the community, and a part of who I am. I’ve travelled the world learning this incredible practice, becoming one of the most highly accredited yoga teachers in North America. I teach here since I live here. This is my community.

Here’s why that matters, and what makes the Yoga Club so special: we offer yoga at a different kind of scale– one that can change your life.

Our process is collaborative— we build a practice tailored to meet your goals. I’ve always believed that yoga is about more than just poses and flexibility. It’s a journey of self-discovery, feeling better, and building connections with others. That’s what I aim to foster here at The Yoga Club.

It’s not about being the biggest or the flashiest; it’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and can learn authentic yoga.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how a genuine, non-commercial approach can make all the difference. I’m here day in and day out, ensuring that each person who walks through the doors feels a sense of belonging. It’s about creating an environment where people can relax, grow, and be themselves.

When I moved to Logan circle over 20 years ago, it was the kind of community that could incubate artists and empaths and non-conformistists. Thats the spirit of this Logan Circle community, and I’ve strived to make The Yoga Club a reflection of the values and spirit of this neighborhood. It’s a cozy, welcoming hub where everyone knows your name and you’re not just another face in the crowd.

It’s not your typical commercial yoga studio; it’s a place that feels like a yoga shala.
