Sixteen sessions where the threads become visible. Each one takes a single principle and shows it at three depths at once — the Primary, Intermediate and Advanced A expressions, which are all secretly the same movement.

This is where you watch your own series from above and below at the same time. Intermediate is the hinge: the ceiling of one room is the floor of the next. Every series is the previous series asked a harder question, and the one below is where the answer lives.

How each session runs

  • Frame — name the principle and the lens.
  • Shared prep — the joint work for the theme. All bodies, the same drill.
  • Three depths — Primary, then Intermediate, then Advanced A. This is the engine.
  • MVP — everyone finds their viable version. Nobody forces a shape to qualify.
  • In context — the postures back inside the count and the breath.
  • Close — tie it to the lens and the three rules.

The asana behind the threads

Each session names the postures that carry the principle at all three amplitudes — the fold from Padangusthasana to Eka Pada Sirsasana to Vishvamitrasana; the bind from Marichyasana to Pasasana to Kashyapasana; the lift from Navasana to Tittibhasana to Urdhva Kukkutasana; the arch from Urdhva Dhanurasana to Kapotasana to Raja Kapotasana; the lotus thread from Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana to Karandavasana to the press.

What you get

  • Sixteen sessions — workshop format. We take the week’s material apart, build it back up, and put it in the count.
  • The Functional Synthesis and Integration course on Ashtanga Tech — a page per week, yours to keep. See the course
  • Eighteen letters — one each week, plus a welcome and a closing letter.
  • An FRC joint-prep layer for the hardest demand of each week.
  • The workbook, and a mid-term self-practice checkpoint.

What runs through every session

The count — taught first, asana second. Tristana — breath, bandha, drishti. Most Viable Posture — every shape is a spectrum, not a target; you work the version you can breathe in today, through four lanes: Therapeutic, Restorative, Maintenance and Challenge. Challenge means more load, more time, less support — not more depth.

Three rules

Don’t hurt yourself. Be honest. Try to have a good time. In that order.

Who it is for

Every level, in the same room. That is the whole point.
